This was pretty decent. Not to bad. Short to the point. I like those. I mean yeah sometimes they get a bit boring but if you mix this anthology with some of the disturbing ones, you'll balance out fine.
A great many tales here. The short stories cover a broad range and are all very well done. The editor has chosen a varied mix which keep the reader interested.
Great stories, good format and definitely readable. Worth the price of admission. These stories make you feel emotions that are strong, strange, foreign, and relatable. Jump into other people's shoes and worlds and see how you feel. Read Volume One, Two, Three and wait for Four. Good job!
What frightens you the most? Have you intimately known fear, despair, doubt, regret, loneliness, and pain? Or, are your dark ghosts even blacker, buried deeply in the Id, with self afraid to reach for life, for fear of being singed by reality? Are you hiding from ghosts, from insecurities, from the nebulous beyond? Have you slipped down the slide into that dark cave reserved for madness? Will your dark fears swallow you with the growing stench of madness? Does your rage border on ecstasy? Are you truly the maestro caught within the whirling suction of a maelstrom?

Penetration is the key. Those who overcome are capable of piercing false-faced appearances. Those with discernment will feel acutely the agendas of the piercing voices.
These are thought-provoking, bone chilling, mesmerizing stories of parks, pets, caves,smoke, cemeteries, stormy nights, grave diggers, cornfields, killing rooms,and the Santa Claus who does not mold into a familiar pattern. Crazies relish flowers of doubt, those unspeakable things. Gallows humor Is seldom appreciated. When patients die, look for bloody knives under the bed.
Lucid, rational explanations will not offer exits from nightmares. Glutinous liquid, thickly viscous, stains clothes on the misshapen doll. Or, is that another sacrificial goat? Does the idea of pyromania excite primal senses, with the smoke aroma rising as a genuine delight?
These are stories which induce questions. Stories of dark and darkest times. Just when you imagined that you were cured, another Darker Times fiction story rears its head and bares its fangs. An enormous effort. Affords a shivery chill.
